Ann Anspach featured Artist at Holbrook Art Series in April 2017
On April 21st from 5pm to 7pm, the Arts Alliance of the White Mountains is sponsoring the April Holbrook Art Series. AAWM Artist Ann Anspach is the featured artist for the evening at the Train Depot in Holbrook. Please plan to attend the support Ann and the art of the White Mountains.
Ann is a cowgirl/artist from Wyoming, now living in the Taylor, AZ area. She is recognized for her success with working in watercolor, oil, graphite, and pottery. She primarily paints for her own enjoyment now, but also teaches art classes on occasion. She strives to capture the light and essence of a subject without being limited to photo realism. Ann counts herself lucky to have studied under, and painted with, many fine artists, including Greg McHuron, Jane Skaar, Nita Engle, Lynn Thomas, Ruth Rawhouser, and Charmian McLellan. Ann has a strong desire to continually improve on her product, by improving her ability to present her vision of a subject. A great day is when a colorful, juicy, clean watercolor is the result of her painting efforts. Ann also delights in capturing what she sees
as the essence of a person, place, or animal, in a painting.
